"I got Paulked today !" Mike on 8/24/2018 10:27 PM Rating:
Review: Beginning woodworker here who looked online at dozens of workbenches looking for one to build for my 2 car garage workspace. Nothing seemed right until I saw the Paulk bench. And THEN I saw that FastCap builds them and my search was over. UPS rocket shipped it to me and rolled the crate right into my garage, absolutely no hassle. Whoever built this did a fantastic job, really tight unit. Yeah, of course I stood on it, why not. Tomorrow, I'm going to start on cabinets, shelves and making a mess. Ciao, Thanks.

Response:Thanks Mike. Enjoy!

Review: Customer service 5 regarding helping me sort out ups freight and resolving my dissatisfaction with the product quality. Unfortunately, the dog holes are not as precision milled as festool mft/3 which was my need and expectation. The holes are consistently irregular shaped with a minor diameter of 19.6 mm and major diameter of 20.3 mm. For comparison, my mft/3 dog holes measure 20.1 mm in diameter and are uniform in shape. If you need extreme precision of the dog holes for alignment or for qwas dogs to fit nicely without redrilling the dog holes yourself, this is not for you yet. Hopefully fastcaps newly acquired cnc will be vastly more precise.

Response: Yes, this issue is now fixed with all new Paulk Workbenches.

Review: "I started out thinking that I was going to simply write a review on this table and move on. I was impressed with the quality and flexible features of this table that it is going to become my new assembly / outfeed table for my shop." Press here to read the whole article.

Review: I bought the Paulk Workbench drawings a few years ago and planned on making a work bench myself but never got around to it. When I found out that I could purchase one I did and have been using it for a few months. It's fairly manageable and I enjoy using it as a project table during my remodels. I've also had time to use it for cabinet box assembly and an all purpose work table. I find it much more useful than a door slab or a plywood top on saw horses. Eventually I will build a shop and anticipate on using one there as well. I highly recommend it.

Response: Thanks Douglas!

"Lift Gate Service Fee" Kirk Williams on 10/13/2016 2:36 PM Rating:
Review: Went to order the complete bench today and after adding it to my cart you get a YouTube video telling you there is another $150 fee for lift gate service if you don't have a forklift or some buddies. Darn, I wanted it so bad and really had to justify the $630. That hit me as a shock. One question. Is there the same fee if you order the kit to build it yourself? If not maybe I'll go that direction. Just easier to by my 4th MFT maybe. Really wanted to support Paul and fast Track and I understand it's heavy.... but that's nuts. A lift gate service will take all of about 3 minutes if that. Thanks guys.

Response: So sorry. The shipping company is the one that sets the rates. We have no control over that. They will not help get the order off the freight truck at all. That is why you either need a forklift or friends. Any of the 3 models: top only, unassembled or assembled are all on pallets and must be unloaded or pay a $150 liftgate fee.

"Router Opening" RRP on 9/21/2016 5:33 PM Rating:
Review: What is the opening size for the router table? There are two standard sizes. You may want to give an option for an 8.25 or an 9.25 inch router plate.

Response: 9-5/16” x 11-13/16”

Review: Great design but quite pricey. I might consider it at $350., but when you add in the $180 for shipping, I choke. You need to call in your UPS and FedEx reps and talk serious about a better rate. If you are trying to profit on S&H, you will fail. Most knowledgeable people can compute actual rates and see what is evident. Once again great design job.

Response: I'm sorry, we should have been more clear. The prices include the shipping costs within the contiguous United States. This item is quite heavy to ship. We did try hard to reduce shipping.

Review: I have not and will not order this! $530 for some plywood and CNC time? Is it gold plated? does it come with a table saw? ridiculous.

Response: I'm sorry, we should have been more clear. $530 includes the shipping costs within the contiguous United States. This item is quite heavy to ship.
